<p class="ql-align-justify">A benign, non-encapsulated soft tissue tumor formed of lobules of mature fat cells separated by delicate fibrovascular trabeculae. No evidence of malignancy. </p>
<p>Left shoulder swelling, suspected lipoma.</p>
<p>Received specimen in formalin fixative consisting of fatty soft tissue mass measured 7 x 5 x 3.5 cm. Gross sectioning fatty cut surface.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Left shoulder swelling, excision biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Lipoma.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
