Diagnosis
<p>Smear showing a mild number of lymphocytes and neutrophils. There are few papillary clusters of hyperplastic ductal cells. The main possibility of this lesion is an intraduct papillomatosis or papilloma. Confirmatory excision of the affected duct system is advised.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p>
<p>Nipple discharge</p>
<p>One smear was submitted and stained.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Nipple discharge, cytology: </u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Few hyperplastic papillary clusters of ductal cells, consistent with duct papillomatosis. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignant cells. </strong></li></ul>
