Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Fallopian tube shows fragments of degenerated decidua with immature edematous chorionic villi and associated severe interstitial hemorrhage. No evidence of fetal tissues. No evidence of tumors.</p><p class="ql-align-justify">Ovary shows cyst lined by several layers of polygonal luteinized cells with interstitial hemorrhage into wall. Associated cystic follicles and corpora albicans are noted. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>History of old ectopic pregnancy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Lt. Salpingo-oopherectomy specimen showing ovary measured 3x1.7x1.3 cm. Cut section showed 4 cysts largest measured 0.6 cm. Also received distended fallopian tube measured 4.5x1.5 cm having hemorrhagic cut section.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Lt. Salpingo-oophorectomy</u></em> :</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Ectopic tubal pregnancy. </strong></li><li><strong>Hemorrhagic luteal cyst and cystic follicles.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for tumors. </strong></li></ul>
