<p class="ql-align-justify">Submitted core biopsy showing dense inflammatory infiltrate rich in multinucleate giant cells of the foreign body type and foamy macrophages. The former show engulfed spheroidal organisms 2-4 microns with clear capsule and faint rounded nucleus, consistent with cryptococcosis. No evidence of malignancy.</p>
<p>Righ maxillary locally advanced mass.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Tissue cores 0.3 to 1.3 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Rt. Maxillary mass, core biopsy:</u></em></strong></h3><ul><li>Fungal granulomatous inflammation (cryptococcosis).</li><li><strong>Confirmatory correlation with microbiological studies is recommended.</strong></li></ul>
