<p class="ql-align-justify">Endometrial polyp and endometrium shows hyperplastic endometrial glands is non-secretory, it is formed of slightly branching and moderately cystic glands lined by 1-2 layers of cells. Stroma is cellular. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Some of the hyperplastic endometrium are seen embedded within superficial myometrium. Cervix shows Nabothian cysts and mild endocervicitis and squamous metaplasia.</p>
<p>Uterine prolapse</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Total hysterectomy specimen; uterus measures 6x4x2.8 cm with myometrial thickness of 1.4 cm showing and endometrial thickness of 0.4 cm, with endometrial polyp measured 1.8 cm. Cervix is 2.3 cm, long.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Total hysterectomy</u></em></strong>:</h3><ul><li><strong>Mild simple cystic endometrial hyperplasia without atypia </strong></li><li><strong>Hyperplastic endometrial polyp </strong></li><li><strong>Superficial adenomyosis </strong></li><li><strong>Cervical Nabothian cysts and mild endocervicitis and squamous metaplasia. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
