Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Rt ovary shows fibrotic cyst wall showing lining by a single layer of non-mucigenic cells. Cyst wall is fibrotic with some flat projections into lumen of cyst. Lt ovary shows copora albicans and cystic follicles. Endometrium is hyperplastic and non-secretory. It is formed of branching glands exhibiting mild cystic dilatation with focal crowdness. Glands are lined by 1-3 layers of cells. Stroma is compact. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Cervix shows Nabothian cysts with mild endocervicites. . No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Rt. ovarian cyst.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Panhysterectomy specimen; uterus measures 7x5x3.5 cm with myometrial thickness of 1.7 cm and endometrial thickness of 0.4 cm. Cervix is 2 cm, long. The right ovary measured 4.5X3X2.5 cm; the cut section was almost replaced by a cyst filled with thick material. The left ovary measured 2x1.5x1 cm, grossly unremarkable. The right and left Fallopian tubes are 5.5 cm and 6 cm, respectively; both are grossly unremarkable.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Panhysterectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Rt. ovarian simple serous cyst.</strong></li><li><strong>Mild cystic endometrial hyperplasia without atypia.</strong></li><li><strong>Nabothian cysts and mild endocervicitis. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
