<p class="ql-align-justify">Malignant soft tissue tumor formed of irregular short bundles of plumpy elongated cells with vesicular elongated nuclei exhibiting focal herring bone pattern. Anaplasia and mitosis are mild to moderate. </p><p class="ql-align-justify">Immunohistochemical studies were performed using appropriate positive and negative controls. The findings are as follows:</p><ul><li><strong>Myogenin: Negative.</strong></li><li><strong>Desmin: Negative.</strong></li><li><strong>SMA: Focal cytoplasmic positivity.</strong></li><li><strong>CD34: Negative.</strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>SOX10: Negative.</strong></li></ul><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Referred paraffin blocks of Lt lower neck mass for immunihistochemical studies.</p>
