<p class="ql-align-justify">Sections from the nodule shows a benign tumor with poor encapsulation, it is composed of compound tubuloalveolar glands lined by cuboidal and columnar secretory (apocrine) cells. Cytologic features are unremarkable. No evidence of malignancy.</p>
<p>Breast mass.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft mass measures 6x5x2 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Breast mass, excision:</u></em></strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Secretory adenoma.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy .</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><h5><strong>COMMENT</strong></h5><h5 class="ql-align-justify">A benign proliferative lesion that may clinically and radiologically simulate carcinoma; preserved lobular architecture and intact myoepithelium confirm benignity.</h5>
