Smears are satisfactory showing a moderate number of neutrophils, lymphocytes and histiocytes and variable sized hyperchromatic crowded groups of squamous cells with anisokaryosis and overlapped nuclei. Some of the clusters show larger cells with more abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm and nuclear membrane irregularity and nuclear angulation. Separate cells of same nature are present on the background with bare atypical nuclei. Picture is consistent with HSIL.
