Fallopian tube shows fragments of degenerated decidua with immature edematous chorionic villi and associated severe interstitial hemorrhage. Bone fragments are identified. No evidence of tumors.

The received specimen consists of a gestational sac measuring 5 x 4.3 x 4 cm with an attached fallopian tube measuring 4 x 0.5 cm. The outer surface of the specimen is smooth. There is a distinct hemorrhagic (bloody) area measuring 2 cm in maximum dimension, as well as a cyst measuring 3.5 x 3 cm that is filled with yellowish fluid. A grossly identifiable fetus is present, with its head measuring 0.6 cm and its leg measuring 0.7 cm.
Salpingectomy:
