Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Smears show unremarkable squamous cells, satisfactory for evaluation with present endocervical / transformation zone components. There is associated mild inflammatory changes without identified clue cells. Monilial spore and hyphae are identified. No evidence of viral or trichomonal infection. No evidence of atypical or malignant cells.</p>
<p>Pap smear for cytology examination.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Three smears were submitted labeled as endocervix, exocervix, endo and exocervix. All were stained with pap.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Pap smear, conventional cytology:</u></em></strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Satisfactory for evaluation.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy (NILM).</strong></li><li><strong>Organisms: Moniliasis.</strong></li><li><strong>Mild neutrophilic infiltrate. </strong></li><li><strong>Clue cells are not identified. </strong></li></ul>
