Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Sections show subepithelial marked actinic degenerative changes of collagen with mild increased vascularity. There is subepithelial moderate to dense infiltration by inflammatory cells. Overlying squamous epithelium appears hyperplastic with areas of parakeratosis but no evidence of malignancy and excision looks complete.</p>
<p>Biopsy from the eye.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue fragment 0.5x0.4x0.2 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<h3><strong><u>Eye biopsy</u></strong> :</h3><ul><li><strong>Pterygium, inflamed.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
