<p class="ql-align-justify">Lymph node shows preserved normal nodal pattern and hyperplasia of the lymphoid follicles which retain active and intact germinal centers with tingible body macrophages. There is diffuse and heavy accumulation of coarse, granular, black-to-dark-brown pigment, consistent with marked anthracosis, which is distributed extensively throughout the lymphoid stroma and within macrophages. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of malignancy. </p>
<p>Status post coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).</p>
<p>One soft tissue fragment measured 1x0.8x0.6 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Lymph node (unspecified site), excision biopsy : </u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Reactive follicular lymphoid hyperplasia with marked anthracosis.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
