Microscopic Description
Diagnosis
<p>A cellular tumor showing proliferation of fibrocytes and Schwann cells with dominance of the latter. The cells are arranged in short bundles with focal palisading of nuclei of Schwann cells. No evidence of necrosis or active mitosis. Immunostaining for S-100 protein and Ki67 is needed to confirm tumor type and for evaluation of biological activity.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p>

<p>Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 4x4x0.8 cm, totally embedded</p>
